Stanley Kubrick:The Exhibition

The Design Museum, London celebrates the work of Stanley Kubrick, one of the greatest filmmakers of the 20th century, marking the 20th anniversary of his death. Arranged in galleries themed by film title, the exhibition explores his unique command of the whole creative design process of filmmaking including previously unseen artifacts such as his letters, notes, script annotations, card indexes, shooting schedules, technical equipment and film props.

It also includes curated screenings of extracts from his genre-defining films Paths of GloryThe Shining, Barry Lyndon, 2001: A Space Odyssey,

Eyes Wide Shut, Dr Strangelove, Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange.

Also included are important works by designers Hardy Amies, Soul Boss, Milena Cononero and Ken Adam, art and photography from Diane Arbus, Allen Jones and Don McCullin, designs from Soul Boss, Elliott Noyes and Pascall Morgue alongside contributions from renowned directors.

Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition runs at the Design Museum, London, from 26 April to 17 September 2019.
